Clarisa Garcia-Fresco graduated from the American Film Institute with a Master of Fine Arts in Production Design; and from the New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture.

Clarisa’s passion for film and storytelling led her to collaborate with many talented filmmakers as a Production Designer and Art Director. Her short film CLARITY received the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Award; was Winner at the L.A. Shorts Awards and Remi Winner at the Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival. Her Short film PLEA received the Audience Award for Narrative Short at the Ashland Independent Film Festival.

Prior to focusing on film and Production Design, Clarisa had been practicing Architecture for over 10 years giving her the opportunity to work on many award winning projects with renowned Architects around the world. During her professional career as an architect she had the opportunity to live in London, Shenzhen, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, New York and Buenos Aires.

Clarisa is a member of the United Scenic Artists- IATSE Local 829, and has been invited to join the Art Directors Guild- IATSE Local 800.
